16. I liked that "aulde lang syne" song he did and the "Run For the Roses" and "Leader of the Band". So sad that he died... he wasn't even very old.

I agree that TMZ should have been ON that story right away! What's the matter??? You want to be RELEVANT, don't you??? BETTER WATCH IT, TMZ... YOU'RE SLIPPING!!!

17. If John Mayer is as TMZ quoted below the story "an insufferable douchebag", why on heavens earth would this be the first story people see. Thats great he does the Toy thing. But give me a break, the guy is supposedly some big time philanthropist when all he does is donate a certain portion of his T shirt sales. Gee, that would be like Joe Public given the money he gets from a bag of cans turned in for scrap. I'm sick of these so called do gooder celebrities getting all this praise but on a percentage of their gross totals, its actually insulting.

Even Oprah only gives 12% of her total annual net income. It might sound big in numbers to most people but on a percentage basis is about the same as the average tax payer gives to church, charity and goodwill donations. PUHLEEZE.

18. This is nice. It's also nice that tens of thousands of Americans broke the one-day fundraising record by donating over $5 million dollars to presidential candidate Ron Paul. Getting government off our backs, out of our pockets and our bedrooms, is becoming so fashionable that even TMZ might notice it.

19. to poster power of gold:
whoever the hell foggleburg was...why on earth should he be mentioned on a pop music site? maybe bet is a better target for a complaint of that nature? or whatever sit his fans created for him BEFORE he died???

21. That's priceless. Looking at that picture most people would see one man who has sight while the other is visually impaired. One man is light the other dark.

I see someone who can see and is full of light - Stevie Wonder. Believing in things you don't understand is superstition. That's why Stevie will always be lighter and be able to see better than Mayer. John is the blind, darkened one.

22. Anyone who has a heart and loved music is grieving today at the passing of Dan Fogelberg. I agree, HOW CAN all this junk be more important than a tribute to the LEGACY of music, Dan???
