46. Nope - not going to happen. China is no longer allowing singles to adopt, and now that Brit is single again, she is out of the running. If she is in "talks" with an agency, it has to be for another country - not China. And no reputable agency is going to approve a parent who has already lost custody of her other children. I suspect her "talks" are all in her head.

47. To the people saying "Just let her be" um...hello, she hasn't been taking care of HER OWN kids properly! What I have to say is: Take care of your own children first then go 'become Madonna and Angelina Jolie'. Seriously, that's messed up if she goes to adopt other children and acts like she could give a care in the world about her own children. Shame on you BritBrit!

49. This is an irresponsible and dangerous story to print on your site without any collaboration or simple, basic fact checking. Single women, drug addicts, and even in many cases those on prescription drugs may NOT adopt from China. Irresponsible "news" stories can put pending Chinese adopitons in danger, and could even lead to the Chinese suspending their adoption program. You should pull this story immediately off of your web site or at the very least, update it with the correct information. It is also racist to imply that other governments care so little about their children they would permit their children to be adopted by a drug addict and court declared unfit mother.

58. Adopting overseas children is one of Hollywoods biggest fads. Hollywood celebrities started out first with the pot bellied pig as pets. When the pigs became hogs, that fad faded pretty quickly. The next fad was the little lap dog as a pet. This fad is still around and probably will survive for years to come. Then celebrities started adopting children from other countries. Some of the celebrities were sincere in wanting a family but others obviously did it as a publicity stunt. Tom Cruise, Madonna, Angelia Jolie, Meg Ryan and a host of others adopted children. What kind of family can some celebrities offer to these children when their care is left to nannies while their adoptive parents are off doing their own thing? This adoption fad is really sad. It is more like a hobby for a lot of celebrities. I have read that some want to adopt a child from every third world country. All that I ask is, WHY? There are children in the USA that need a family, yet people think its cool to bring one from another country. If Britney is allowed to adopt a child now, it just shows that money talks. She obviously cant take good care of her own biological children and surely does not need other children exposed to the circus that she calls a life. I bet Brad Pittsays to himself everyday, What have I gotten myself into? It is really sad that children are collected like one collects a pet.

59. Seriously, nobody knows whats really going on in her life, all you hear is what people want you to hear. Everybody knows she is going though a hard time, and she is trying. Look at how the paps surroud her car and follow her every move. Every one would make mistakes. And quit acting like half of you havn't dank or smoked pot. Being a parent is hard, even with out being watched 24/7 by a man who only wants the kids for money.
